Did you know that yarn comes with a
name? This cotton yarn is called “Psychedelic” and that’s the main reason I
bought it. It only cost $2.00 to make this dishcloth. Well, if you don’t
count the 15 hours of labour to knit it! It took so much effort my fingers
turned blue. At first, I thought my fingertips were bruised, but it was just
the trippy dye coming out of the yarn. Silly me.
Even still, there’s something Zen
about knitting so I think I’m going to stick with it. I’ve been amusing myself
with grand ideas of knitting psychedelic dishcloths for everyone I love. I have
a lot of *hippie* friends...
